Pose pose! Me and Miss Lee! Loving it!

Uvita, Costa Rica! Finally... Las Playas!

Playa Hermosa, so just happens that it was a cloudy day, and we even got some drops of rain! But the views were still magnificent! La Playa!

Kingdom Hall English group, soon to be a congregation, they were trying to recruit me and Lee, we passed. Also they have a spanish congregation. Very small and simple Hall. Warm reception, all excited for the new visitors!
                                                                    This is the group!
Best food ever, we were kinda wondering how it was going to be, cuz it was all alone when we got there. But after getting our food! WOW! not only it was delicious! It got busy, I mean, it took longer to get our check than our food! PURA VIDA!
Platano, small salad, and red snapper! Pescado frito, pa' chupar los dedos!
Buen provecho! I learned something from the bears in Kodiak! hehe!

Fun service DAY!

Biggest tree I've seen so far!
Baby owl, fell of the tree! =o( So sad... Bapby show Mona and China, what I saw out on service! It fell like "Blue" on RIO.

Paola and Moi, Italian sister! She awesome! She was my service partner today, and shes getting married next year in Italy. Guess who's invited to the wedding?? ME!!!!!
The brother was trying to rescue the poor owl, we just didn't know where else to put him. So we just left it there.

Out shopping EL CENTRO + FOOD!

Small vendors selling veggies, and fruits! It so cool   to have a choice in getting GOOD fruits! For a decent price! I love it!

Next to this square the was a huge catholic church, on the hour the bells rang! That was crazy! But people kept doing their daily thing, not a big deal, it's just annoying bells!!! So we were looking for a local place to eat, and I asked a man walking to the bus stop, what was a good place! So he said "La Chirripona" (no translation) and we found it!
This is my 2nd coffee in Costa Rica! It was a bit strong so I was glad I had asked for milk to be added! It was still good. My first cup of coffee, was with the sister that I'm staying with, regular store bought. It was good, and for all you coffee drinkers, Baby, Kerry-Berry, and RieChan** I'm bringing some for you! =o)
We ordered a very local dish, I forget the name. On the right is Carol, from Switzerland! She was showing us around. Very sweet sister =O)
Fish, white rice, salad (tuna and shell pasta) black beans, picadillo (yucca, tomato, onion, cilantro) and platano.

It was good! It wasn't great, but it was good, it was worth every dollar, $8 to be exact. We enjoyed our day off. Mondays are everyone's off day. No one goes out on service, the friends stay home to catch up with house chores, going to the market place, etc. It was nice just to be out, I was able to talk to people on the bus, they were excited when they will hear me speak spanish with an accent. LOL I'm such a Mexican!

Costa Rica.... a pioneers paradise*****

Up, up from door to door!

Lunch time! Enjoying fresh fruit, good laughs, and encouraging experiences! Yes, I got a tan! Pura vida!
This is how we call out to people, we stand outside, and say "Hola" or "Buenas" when they come out, we let them know we are there to talk about the Bible, and if  "podemos pasar" (we can come in) then we just talk to them about our message. No presentations... we can take our time and really talk to them, and find out what they need spiritually! "Ticos" (costa ricans) are so humble, they all respect why were there and take time to hear us!
LOL EWWW, but after walking up the mountain, Isaiah 52:7! That's what I kept telling myself!
Territory up the mountains! We started at 7-2:30pm, in the hot blazing sun! And it got hotter, and hotter. But there was plenty shade, and the mountains as we kept going, from door to door. Service is wonderful! I started 2 Bible studies the first day out! The second day, 1, and today, I was able to share many scriptures!
I was kinda sad because I was getting behind on my time, but I'm sure Jehovah willing he will help me out! It's a complete change, but I love it. The congregation where I'm attending has many pioneers, and need graters, from Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and Mexico. Ill keep posting!
